Kelly Services wanted to offer its clients a sleek mobile application to use when searching for employment opportunities to better compete in a rapidly transforming job search industry. The company sought a cutting-edge solution that could integrate candidate and job posting data from disparate sources, be accessed on multiple platforms and devices, and provide an outstanding user interface and user experience.
It needed a partner that could handle the development as well as integration with Salesforce CRM and other legacy systems, such as its Kelly Career Network and employee self-service portal, so it could remain focused on its core business.
Emtec’s application development services team partnered with sister company Wave6 to design and develop a powerful iOS and Android mobile application on the Salesforce App Cloud™ platform. The application fully integrates with Kelly Services’ existing data infrastructure to maintain a consistent experience and efficient internal business processes.
Kelly now has a sleek, easy-to-use mobile app inteface that connects job seekers to enterprise clients for employment. Job candidates can easily build a profile, search for jobs and manage the search process via their mobile devices on the go. The app also features the ability to view jobs based on their location and knowledge articles related to job candidates’ fields.
As of May 2017, the company has had more than 66K downloads of the mobile app and is planning additional functionality for it, including improved resume parsing, easier data entry, and instant feedback capabilities.
