• Overall 5-7 years relevant experience in the Banking / Finance / Payment industry with hands-on experience on Open Loop and Closed Loop Payment Solutions for at least 2-4 years
• As a domain expert has a proven knowledge on multiple projects, involving the Payment Card Industry e.g. payment processors like Visa, Master, Amex, Discovery and merchant cards
• Drive design thinking / requirements gathering workshops with client business experts
• Understand the current capabilities of Payments and the cross-functional impacts 
• Provide thought leadership to business team on trends like gifts cards, trend generation, marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, P2P, Top-Ups, Tap-And-Go.  
• Able to clearly articulate the benefits/challenges of both types of methods including a hybrid payments model 
• Prepare a detailed plan for functional deliverables and ensure transparency of the project progress to all stakeholders
• Support the development and testing teams on any functional queries and resolve those in time
• Prepare the functional requirement documents, software requirement documents, user stories, flow diagrams
• Review the test scenarios/cases and facilitate sign-off with business.

Key Skills needed

• Sound knowledge of traditional payment systems like Cash, Check, Debit and Credit Card payment
• Knowledge in more than one of the following areas: ISO20022, SWIFT payments, ACH, RTGS, Real-Time Payment
• Aware of business applicability of relent technologies like PCI – DSS, NFS and experience in any of the following: US RTP, SEPA, Hong Kong Payments, India - NACH, RTGS, IMPS & UPI, Singapore G3
• Excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
